About Me
As a junior at the University of Florida, I was caught up in typical college life, until God broke me and I understood the Gospel for the first time.I had learned that only two things last forever - God's word and people. I saw friends and classmates around me seek fulfillment through unhealthy things. The reality of how lost these students were burdened my heart so much that I decided to invest my life in introducing others to Christ. I believe the most influential and strategic place to tell others about Jesus Christ is the college campus.
The Vision-"The worldwide language IS the visual."
How do we reach college students today with the Gospel? I believe a new and major arena has opened up for us through students' primary mode of communication: media-ad campaigns, websites, and film. They have become an effective vehicle to present the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, to build students in their faith, and to send them out to reach their peers.
About Ministry at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
SCAD is one of the top schools in the nation with just under 9,000 students coming from all over the US and the world. As part of Campus Crusade, our desire is that everyone on SCAD's campuses would know someone and even multiple someones who truly follow Jesus.
I see it as such an opportunity to have a presence at SCAD as these students are the culturemakers of tomorrow, especially in this postmodern society. Each week I have the opportunity to meet with students who are pursuing their faith and art together. Together we explore scripture and how we can creatively engage the campus about the hope found in Jesus Christ. I love this campus and its students and am so thankful for the privilege of reaching out here.
